The Rings Please...

Today was a successful day! Rusty found a suit he wants to wear for the wedding, and we picked out our wedding bands! Rusty's band is simple white gold with a satin brushed finish (if anyone even knows what that means:)!) and mine is a thin white gold band that will HOPEFULLY be molded around my engagement ring so they fit together well. It was fun to try on lots of different rings and envision ourselves actually married and wearing them everyday.

We're starting to take a major chunk out of all this planning, and personally, I will be glad when it's done and we just get to be married! I can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends on our wedding day and have the planning be in the rear view mirror:)! It will be a great time! Invitations will be out next month, so keep an eye out in the mail and send me your address if I don't have it already!

We are still in Tucson. We just started our final internship two weeks ago, and we are both enjoying our clinic assigments. We have spent time with my family on our days off, and we are attending a church someone suggested to me tomorrow to hopefully get plugged in a little deeper while we are in the Old Pueblo:). Please pray for us to get connected with a local body of Jesus followers here and to make the most of our last month and a half of being students! Thanks and love you all!

Cake!

Today, Rusty and I sampled different cake flavor combinations to select our wedding cake! This was probably the best thing we have had to do yet. After many taste tests (and crazy sugar rushes), we decided on chocolate with raspberry filling for one tier and red velvet with cream cheese filling for the second tier. One wedding decision down...about 687 to go:)!

Rusty and I finished our third internship in Colorado on Friday, and up next for us is a move to Tucson tomorrow! This is our final move for internships and our fourth and final rotation before graduation! Our graduation date is May 9th, and it is coming QUICKLY! We're starting to look for jobs and make plans for after graduation when real life smacks us in the face at light speed. More on that when we actually have something concrete to say. It's getting ridiculous to try and speculate as to where we may be, because it constantly changes. I'll be excited to have family and friends come visit us wherever we end up, and I'll be excited to report where that is when we find out!

Peace to yall until then!
